Previous productions

The Mathry Players entertained their audience in the dull days of February 2008 with a hilarious comedy “whodunnit” called “Murdered to Death”. Newcomers Toby Hale, Robbie Jenkins, Kate Lymer, Angharad Price and Rhys Price, joined the regulars Steve Craft, Ieuan Jenkins, Lynn Phillips, Sian Richardson and Karen Smith in this hilarious “Miss Marple” spoof involving a batty colonel, a smarmy French painter, a well endowed “young gal” and of course a butler. Miss Maple was on hand to help Inspector Pratt and Constable Thomkins work it out….
A scene from Derek Benfield's farce, Flying Feathers, which was performed at Mathry Hall by The Mathry Players on 9th, 10th and 11th of February, 2006 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday). A Chief Constable visits the country home of his late brother to find that Mrs Winthrop, the housekeeper, has been using the place in a very unusual way, including a great deal of "you know what". A ghost, a monk, a vicar, a vet and a window cleaner are involved, not to mention the missing horse and bicycle. And there are four young ladies.......! Janet Nicholls, Steve Craft, Lynn Phillips, Ieuan Jenkins and Ben Richardson are partly to blame, whilst Meryl Owen, Karen Smith, Sian Richardson and Sarah Hanley are very much on show.
